Disclosure of Social & Environmental Standards (SES) Reports for the CUVKUN project

March 17, 2026

In alignment with UNDP’s Social and Environmental Standards (SES), stakeholder engagement is a key priority to ensure transparency, inclusivity, and meaningful participation in decision-making processes. These standards form an integral part of the Social and Environmental Management System Requirements, as outlined by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The SES play a critical role in UNDP’s quality assurance and risk management approach, ensuring that programs adhere to best practices in environmental and social sustainability. To uphold these principles, the following reports are publicly available for review:

  • Gender Action Plan
  • Stakeholder Engagement Plan
  • Social and Environmental Screening Procedure (SESP) at implementation
  • Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs)
  • Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs)
  • Cultural Heritage Reports; for Angola and Namibia

These documents will be disclosed for 60 days to ensure that all key stakeholders are adequately informed.
