National Sustainability disclosure roadmap
National Sustainability disclosure roadmap
April 6, 2026
This National Sustainability disclosure roadmap was developed under the Sustainability Disclosure and Management Hubs (SDMH) Programme, led by UNDP Financial Centres for Sustainability (UNDP FC4S) as part of the EU-funded Sustainable Finance Advisory Hub (SFAH). The initiative was carried out in close collaboration with the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia and a wide range of national stakeholders.
This roadmap is a living document intended to guide Mongolia’s phased adoption of IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards. It reflects the best available information as of February 2026 and could be updated as market readiness, regulatory decisions, and international developments evolve. The roadmap has been developed in alignment with the ISSB Jurisdictional Roadmap Development Tool and Mongolia’s Sustainability-Related Reporting: Readiness Assessment and is informed by relevant
the European sustainability reporting and regulatory practices. It incorporates international best practices and draws on technical consultations and policy discussions led by the Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the Financial Regulatory Commission, Bank of Mongolia, Mongolian Stock Exchange, industry representatives, and the private sector.
