Under the Climate Promise initiative, UNDP has supported the Government of Mongolia in strengthening the integration of gender equality into national climate policies and actions. Drawing on the findings of the “Gender Target Gap Assessment for NDC 3.0 and LT-LEDS of Mongolia,” this information sheet provides an at-a-glance overview of how gender equality is reflected in Mongolia’s NDC 3.0, highlighting key achievements, identified gender gaps, implementation challenges, and priority areas for further action. It aims to inform stakeholders about progress made and remaining challenges in advancing gender-responsive climate policies and their implementation.
