Lebanon’s updated National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) of 2025 sets a national roadmap for conserving, restoring, and sustainably managing biodiversity in line with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. 

Developed through a participatory process led by the Ministry of Environment and UNDP, it outlines the actions, targets, and monitoring systems needed to safeguard Lebanon’s natural heritage for future generations.
