Justice, Security and Stabilization
UNDP works with national and local institutions to strengthen integrity, justice, security and institutional resilience, while supporting communities affected by conflict, displacement and recurrent crises. In response to the impacts of war, UNDP has strengthened its crisis-response and support mechanisms while continuing to work with national institutions on stabilization and early recovery. This includes strengthening accountable and people-centred security institutions, improving access to justice, particularly for women, vulnerable groups and crisis-affected communities, strengthening legitimate state authority and supporting recovery through livelihoods, mine action and safer access to land and communities. Together, these efforts help protect rights, reduce vulnerabilities, strengthen trust between people and institutions, and create the conditions for a safer, more resilient and stable Lebanon.
