Project Summary

The Creative Industries Kosovo Project will contribute to development of a conducive environment for the growth of the creative economy by promoting creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship in both the public and private sectors. The intervention will support the development of creative and cultural institutions and industries through inclusive and data-driven policymaking, strengthened formal and informal education opportunities, and supporting private sector development and employment opportunities in the sector.

What we want to achieve

The Creative Industries Kosovo project aims to boost creative industries as a key driver of economic growth. It will promote evidence-based policies supporting industry development and innovation, based on protected intellectual rights. Formal and informal training programs will empower diverse young individuals, fostering skills for future employment, entrepreneurship, or self-employment in the growing creative industries. Strengthening the academia-private sector partnership will connect job seekers with creative entrepreneurship, supporting private firms and fostering innovation under MIET. The project will create opportunities for Kosovo's creative economy by advancing research, improving access to expertise, establishing collaborative platforms, enhancing financial access, and promoting private sector growth. Building a dynamic and innovative creative sector in Kosovo will drive sustainable economic growth, new employment opportunities, and social inclusion for all.
