An overview of a pilot project - Strengthening the Adaptive Capacity of Farmers and Fisherfolk in Jamaica. The pilot targets young fishers and farmers in Jamaica utilising a gender sensitive approach, under the comprehensive Enabling Gender-Responsive Disaster Recovery, Climate and Environmental Resilience in the Caribbean (EnGenDER) project. EnGenDER is being implemented in Jamaica, Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Suriname, and aims to improve climate resilience for women and girls and key vulnerable populations and future generations in the Caribbean.
