Study on Gender Responsive Climate Budgeting

To anticipate the negative impacts of climate change on vulnerable groups, it is necessary to integrate the gender perspective in the formulation of climate actions as well as its implementation in all development sectors. United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection have developed a study on Gender-Responsive Climate Budgeting to assess the existing government's climate change programs and activities that are gender-responsive through the budget tagging system.
