Between 2000 and 2023, India has extended over US$14.7 billion in grants and US$32 billion in concessional Lines of Credit, supporting more than 600 development projects across 68 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Pacific.
Additionally, through the India-UN Development Partnership Fund and the IBSA Fund, India has committed over US$150 million since their inception to advance digital public infrastructure, renewable energy, healthcare, and climate resilience, with a special focus on Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
India’s South-South Cooperation is anchored in solidarity, mutual growth, and demand-driven partnerships. With UNDP as a trusted partner, India continues to share its development experience, technologies, and scalable solutions with the Global South advancing progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
