A training on women's rights was held from January 4th to 7th in Ingoré, Guinea-Bissau, organized by AMIC – Associação Amigos da Criança, in partnership with Casa dos Direitos and with the support of UNDP.
The training was attended by 50 members from women's associations and 50 members of the security and defense forces of the Cacheu sub-region. The objective is to train different actors, namely local, national and non-state authorities, on the rights of women and girls.
An initiative supported by UNDP Guinea-Bissau, within the scope of the project Support Access to Justice and Strengthen the Rule of Law.
