Our work would not be possible without the genuine dedication of our partners. UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina has built numerous strong partnerships with government institutions at all levels, international partners, and civil society organizations, aiming for the optimal utilization of developmental assistance and the enhancement of cooperation within the country.
We express gratitude to all our partners for their generosity, perseverance, and determination in providing support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path towards a prosperous and secure future.
In order to achieve its mandate, UNDP relies entirely on voluntary contributions from UN Member States, multilateral organizations, private sector and other sources, in the form of unrestricted regular resources (core), and contributions earmarked for a specific theme, programme or project.
Accountability is the obligation to demonstrate that work has been conducted in accordance with agreed rules and standards and report fairly and accurately on performance results vis-à-vis mandated roles and/or plans.
The results presented in 2024 Annual Report demonstrate concrete, largescale impact, reinforcing our support to the people and authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina by co-developing and leading transformation through integrated solutions.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), otherwise known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
UNDP's Strategic Plan (2022-2025) has been designed to be responsive to the wide diversity of the countries we serve. The diversity is reflected in three directions of change: Structural transformation, leaving no-one behind, and building resilience, six signature solutions and three enablers.
