UNDP Resident Representative in China, Ms. Renata Dessallien (photo) met with Mr. Yu Jianhua, Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Commerce in Beijing on 16 August 2011. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Director General, Mr. Zhu Hong, and Mr. Lu Feng, Director at the Chinese Foreign Aid Department. Guided by the desire to enhance cooperation, discussions focused on China’s strategic partnership with Cambodia; the Greater Tumen Initiative and the forthcoming visits of UNDP Associate Administrator, Ms. Rebecca Grynspan and UNDP Administrator, Ms. Helen Clark, later this year.
