Knowledge Management and Capacity Development Initiative (GEF-SGP OP7)
Call for Proposals
July 24, 2026
The GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP), implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Royal Government of Bhutan, invites proposals from eligible Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) for a five-month Knowledge Management and Capacity Development Initiative under the SGP Operational Phase 7 (OP7).
Please note that this call is open only to CSOs.
The initiative aims to strengthen knowledge management and learning, enhance the capacities of SGP grantee partners, promote youth and stakeholder engagement where appropriate, and document and communicate the results, impacts, and lessons learned from OP7, while supporting the capacity development of OP8 grantees.
It contributes directly to the implementation of the SGP OP7 Country Programme Strategy, particularly Strategic Objective 6 (knowledge management, learning, and communication) and Strategic Objective 7 (capacity development, institutional networks, and partnerships).
Accordingly, UNDP GEF-SGP Bhutan is seeking a qualified CSO to implement this integrated initiative, which will support the successful closure of OP7, facilitate the transition to OP8, and strengthen the Bhutan Country Programme through impact documentation, strategic communications, knowledge products, video production, and grantee capacity development.
The deadline for proposal submission is 14 August 2026. Please submit your proposal HERE.
