2022 Call for Proposals 

GEF-Small Grants Programme

The GEF-Small Grants Programme, implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Royal Government of Bhutan would like to invite Civil Society Organizations and Community-based Organizations to submit innovative and inclusive project proposals to solve environmental challenges. The Strategic Goal of SGP, UNDP Operational Phase 7 (2020-2023) is to promote and support innovative, inclusive and scalable initiatives, and foster multi-stakeholder partnerships at the local level to tackle environmental issues in the priority landscape.

The project proposals must be aligned with the SGP’s Country Programme Strategy (available for download below) and are encouraged to reflect on the SGP’s COVID-19 green recovery (available for download below) as well as relevant policies and strategies of UNDP, government and others.

The deadline for the submission of proposals is 03:00 PM, Thursday, 15^th September 2022. Please note that the project proposals will be accepted only between 1^st – 15th September 2022.
