Slobodan Tadić is the Global Manager of the GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP) at UNDP. With over 25 years of experience in the United Nations system, he leads the SGP's global team in strengthening collaboration with partners and delivering tangible, locally-driven results that translate global environmental goals into meaningful action.

Slobodan brings a wealth of expertise from both crisis and development contexts, having led complex programmes in Europe, Africa, and Central Asia with a strong emphasis on community-level impact. Prior to his current role, he served as UNDP's Resident Representative a.i. in Azerbaijan, supporting the country’s engagement with Climate COP29, and coordinated UNDP’s crisis response in Sudan, overseeing emergency livelihood and recovery initiatives that reached millions. Recognized for his collaborative leadership and deep commitment to community resilience, his career has been dedicated to fostering inclusive and sustainable development from the ground up.
