Rachael Bwalya is a Research Assistant with the Strategy and Policy Unit at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where she supports data-driven policy analysis, socio-economic research, and strategic initiatives to advance sustainable development in Zambia. Her work supports national development through technical, policy, stakeholder engagement, and programme coordination efforts. She has contributed to key knowledge products, supports evidence-based decision-making and strategic development efforts.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics with Distinction, a Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours in Economics, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences with Distinction in Economics, all from Rhodes University.
