Jabbes Banda is a Knowledge Management Assistant at UNDP Zambia. He supports the Governance and Gender Unit and youth programmes through strategic communications, advocacy, and documentation of impact stories. His work has included leading communications for the YouthConnekt Zambia and Africa Summits in 2024, the first-ever Zambia Electoral Stakeholder Conference (ZESC), and documenting initiatives under the Empowering Women in Peacekeeping Operations and Democracy Strengthening in Zambia (DSZ) projects. He has also supported gender-based violence response programmes, including the GBV II Project and Spotlight Initiative 2.0. With prior experience at the Zambia National Public Health Institute, where he contributed to outbreak communication and community engagement, Jabbes is passionate about public health, social justice, and using storytelling to amplify community voices and influence inclusive, sustainable development policies.
