The report focuses on energy sector in the Pacific Island countries and its linkages to poverty concerns, gaps therein and modalities for overcoming the same. It aims to facilitate the inclusion of a strong energy component into the countries socio-economic development programmes. The report outlines experiences from UNDP and its partners in designing and implementing energy projects.
