The 2030 Agenda calls on us to leave no one behind in the fight against poverty and in building sustainable development that is inclusive, with economic growth and environmental protection.

At UNDP, we work to ensure that sustainable development is grounded in human rights, gender equality, institutional transparency, access rights, and an environmental sustainability and climate change approach.

Climate Promise

Climate Promise is UNDP’s response to the climate challenge. Tackling the climate crisis requires all countries to make bold commitments under the Paris Agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming and to strengthen adaptation to its impacts.
