Regional Programme Portfolios

The UNDP Regional Programme for Arab States encompasses a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives, each designed to address the region’s most pressing development needs. Our projects focus on key areas such as climate resilience, economic empowerment, good governance, social inclusion, and digital transformation. Through these initiatives, we bring together expertise from across the UNDP network and collaborate with local and regional partners to create tailored solutions that respond to unique country contexts.

Our work is grounded in a whole-of-society approach, meaning we engage with national governments, civil society organizations, the private sector, and community leaders to ensure sustainable, community-led impact. From promoting youth employment and entrepreneurship to supporting climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction, each project is part of a larger vision to create a more inclusive and resilient future for the Arab States.

We also leverage innovation and digital technologies to drive efficiency and accessibility in our initiatives, helping countries make the most of modern tools and resources to meet their Sustainable Development Goals. Through our Projects & Initiatives, we aim not only to address immediate challenges but also to build the foundation for long-term prosperity and resilience across the Arab region.
