This booklet presents the results of the Growing with Your Business (GyB) programme implemented in Belsh from October 2025 to April 2026, supporting 12 enterprises across the local olive value chain. Through tailored consultancy, structured training, investment support and market-access opportunities, the programme helped participating businesses improve their operations, competitiveness and commercial positioning.

Each enterprise received an average of 210 hours of individual consultancy, up to 78 hours of training and a grant for equipment, infrastructure or branding improvements. The programme also supported participation in national fairs, B2B events and other market-linkage activities. 

Together, the 12 businesses recorded an average 28% increase in their customer base, created 14 new jobs and mobilized more than ALL 25.7 million (approximately EUR 270,000) in private investment. They also strengthened Good Manufacturing Practices, marketing systems, digital visibility, product development and access to new markets.

The programme was delivered in collaboration with the Municipality of Belsh under the UN Joint Project “Business Partnerships and Solutions for Sustainable Development Goals” funded by the Government of Sweden and implemented by UNDP in partnership with FAO, ILO and UNIDO. It contributes to enabling Albanian enterprises to become more competitive, resilient and sustainable while generating employment and economic opportunities within their communities.
