Evaluation of International Assistance to the Early Presidential Election in 2012

The purpose of this evaluation is to assess the results of donor support to the electoral process in Yemen in terms of supporting the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referenda (SCER) and the February 2012 electoral process. The evaluation examined the quality, sustainability, relevance, effectiveness, value for money, coordination, coherence, implementation rate and involvement of stakeholders during the 2012 early elections period. The evaluation also reviewed the impact of the donor support Programme in enhancing democracy and the transition to a more stable and secure Yemen.
