UNDP Yemen sub-offices 

UNDP has established sub-offices in Aden, Hodeidah and Mukalla. Engaging local capacities, systems and institutions, UNDP is standing alongside Yemen as it builds back better.

 

Aden Sub-office

The United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Sub-office in Aden is part of the Programme’s County Office in Yemen. The Sub-office is located in the southern port city of Aden, the former capital of South Yemen and the current interim capital of the Republic of Yemen.

Hodeidah Sub-office

The United Nations and the wider international community in Yemen have been working to avert a military confrontation over the city and port of Hodeidah, which would likely bring famine in a country where 20 million people – 70 per cent of the population – are severely food insecure.
