The United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine invites those involved in the organization and provision of social services of supported living to take part in the training.

The goal of the training:

increasing the level of awareness of social service providers about the peculiarities of the organization and provision of social services of supported living in war conditions.

This training will be interesting and useful for:

• representatives of social service providers of all forms of ownership

• representatives of executive bodies of local authorities responsible for providing social services

Dates:

Day 1 – 19 September 2022

Day 2 – 26 September 2022

Day 3 – 3 October 2022

Duration:

3 days for 4 hours, 30 min break.

The training format is online (on the ZOOM platform).

To participate in the training, you must fill out the registration using the link by 15 September inclusive. Registered and selected participants will receive a letter with details no later than 16 September.

During the training, participants will acquire or improve knowledge about:

• needs and problems of people with disabilities and the elderly;

• the number of social services of supported accommodation in accordance with the national standard;

• legislative regulation of the organization and provision of social services of supported accommodation, requirements for its providers, possible sources of funding;

• peculiarities of providing social services in wartime conditions;

• peculiarities of the organization of services for people with disabilities and the elderly (requirements for the premises and peculiarities of arranging functional areas for different categories of clients, requirements for personnel, personnel functions, organization of food, daily routine, etc.).

Certification criteria

Upon completion of training, participants will receive certificates of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine in digital format under the following conditions:

• attendance of at least 2/3 of all sessions (based on electronic attendance lists in Zoom);

• active participation during the event (participation in discussions, interaction in the chat, etc.);

• the camera has to be turned on during at least 2/3 of the sessions;

• filling out the feedback form.
