Details Grants Call for participation in the competition “Provision of comprehensive support to war-affected populations with a focus on persons with disabilities" The grant competition will be conducted on a rolling basis, with the first round of concepts to be submitted no later than December 20, 2022. All concepts submitted after the initial deadline will be reviewed on a monthly basis. There is no deadline for submission of the project proposals concepts, and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed once a month. Details Research collaboration Tapping into local intelligence for post-war reconstruction of Ukrainian cities To ensure that Ukraine’s recovery is sustainable, inclusive and leaves no one behind, there is a need for more multilevel and multistakeholder research. Some of the aspects of long-term sustainability planning are covered by smaller local independent initiatives that are being mapped by UNDP’s Accelerator Lab. More contributions are needed to ensure the complete picture is considered. UNDP is calling on all stakeholders, CSOs and citizens to submit the initiatives. Tolerance - its presence or absence - largely determines how these different groups and people coexist. Tolerance is an approach, a habit, a rule, a worldview, and a way of life in which respect for diversity plays a central role. Details Initiative Community Safari©: a quest to find nature-based solutions for local communities A Community Safari is a two-day adventure that brings together the members of a community to collectively identify, discuss and test ideas to solve challenges and coordinate follow-up actions, using nature-based solutions. The Safari methodology, materials and tools are clearly described and documented in an open-source Toolkit, giving organizations the opportunity to run a Safari of their own in their communities.
