The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Environment and Social Management Plan (ESMP) were prepared for irrigation scheme sub-projects under the GCF Project FP109 Safeguarding Rural Communities and their Physical Assets from Climate-Induced Disasters in Timor-Leste (GCF SCR project).

The ESIA and ESMP for Irrigation schemes comprise of seven chapters. The GCF SRC project is rated moderate as per UNDP SES Standards and, as such, an ESMF was developed to support the Funding Proposal (FP).
