The UNDP CORE-TL Project handed over 12,600 bottles of indelible ink and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Electoral Manage- ment Bodies (EMBs) to support the upcoming elections. The procure- ment of ink, approved by both EMBs and political parties to use in the electoral cycle, was funded by the Government of Timor-Leste. On the other hand, with financial support from the Government of Japan, the project procured eight items of PPEs for COVID-safety, namely 60 gallons of disinfectant, 6,000 bottles of sanitizer, 30 pump machines, 660 sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), 5,800 pieces of KN95 Masks, 400,000 pieces of disposal masks, 1,600 Thermo scan- ners, and 2,900 pairs of gloves.
