This study presents a comprehensive review and analysis of care and support policies, strategies, and plans in Tanzania, conducted under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Joint Programme on Unpaid Care, Disability and a Gender Transformative Approach. The analysis responds to the growing recognition that care systems are central to achieving gender equality, disability inclusion and sustainable development.
