To help address technology-facilitated gender-based violence—including online harassment, cyberstalking, doxing, non-consensual image sharing and deepfakes—UNDP in Tajikistan, together with national experts, has developed the Manual on Combating Technology-facilitated Gender-Based Violence, the country’s first interdisciplinary guide for lawyers, psychologists, social workers, law enforcement officers and human rights defenders.
The manual offers practical guidance on preserving electronic evidence, conducting survivor-centred interviews in line with the Istanbul Protocol, and applying national legislation to strengthen protection
