Promoting Effective Border Management Applying a Human Security Approach for Communities of Border Area with Afghanistan, BMP Phase III


The project is funded by the Government of Japan through JICA. The project’s overall objective is to support the Government of Tajikistan in maintaining an open but secure approach to the Tajik-Afghan border that defends and extends the human security of the communities living near the border. The project seeks to inform policymaking, strengthen coordination, build capacities of State agencies for border security, and facilitate economic exchange in border areas.
