The Green Energy Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Development project invites grant proposals exclusively from micro-credit funds registered in Tajikistan. The primary objective is to award grant(s) to eligible micro-credit funds (MCFs), enabling them to issue 'green loans' for purchasing and installing solar PV and solar water heating (SWH) technologies in Tajikistan's rural areas. These loans, under the conditions specified in the Terms of Reference (ToR), are aimed at SMEs and households. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will subsidize the interest rates for green loan products developed by the Green Energy SMEs project.
