The research on gender representation at Serbian tech events examined the participation of women and men across 15 major tech conferences and 11 meetup groups in Serbia between 2017 and 2024. This study combined quantitative data on speakers, audiences, and event formats with qualitative insights gathered from interviews with event organizers. To provide a broader perspective, the findings were benchmarked against international events, highlighting key differences and best practices.
