UNDP, in cooperation with the United Nations Human Rights Team in Serbia as part of the Free & Equal campaign, presents a regional survey on the situation and rights of intersex persons in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYR Macedonia and Serbia. The survey was conducted in 2017 as part of the regional project "Being LGBTI in Eastern Europe (BLEE)".

The report looks to shed more light on the situation of intersex persons in the Western Balkans sub-region providing an overview of the issues that make intersex persons more vulnerable to rights violation and infringements, practically encounter in the daily lives, but also present clear recommendation as to how to improve the situation.
