The annual analysis of media reporting on violence against women for 2024, conducted by the group Journalists Against Violence, covered more than 10,800 reports in electronic, print, and online media in Serbia.

The findings indicate certain improvements toward a more responsible approach, but also highlight challenges such as sensationalism and the insufficient recognition of violence as a social and gender-based issue.

The publication provides important recommendations for journalists and editors with the aim of strengthening media reporting that contributes to the prevention of violence against women.
