The 2024 UNDP Nature Pledge Annual Report highlights significant achievements from the first year of implementing the UNDP Nature Pledge Strategy, designed to halt and reverse nature loss and ecosystem degradation. This strategic initiative aligns closely with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, the Paris Agreement, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  

The report underscores progress across three interconnected transformational shifts: Value Shift, Economic and Finance Shift, and Policy and Practice Shift. These shifts aim to redefine global perceptions of nature's value, redirect financial flows towards sustainable practices, and integrate biodiversity conservation into national policies and practices.  

Strategic partnerships and stakeholder engagements across 145 countries have amplified impacts, ensuring comprehensive global and local action. The Nature Pledge also facilitated groundbreaking behavioral shifts through global advocacy, educational campaigns, and policy reforms.
