The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Ministry of Local Self-Government is hosting the Annual Conference on Decentralization and Local Governance.
The primary goal of the conference is to establish a platform for an open and inclusive dialogue on the critical challenges and opportunities in citizens-centered local development. It is of vast importance to define the fundamental principles guiding future local and regional development through active engagement of all stakeholders capable of enhancing living conditions within local communities. The event will also provide a valuable opportunity for exchange of experiences among peers, including champions local policymakers from countries in the region.
