Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) requires more than ambition. It requires a coordinated approach to mobilising, aligning, and deploying finance at scale. Nigeria's Integrated National Financing Framework (INFF) provides that platform.

Nigeria is one of the global pioneer countries to adopt the INFF and fast track implementation. The country has taken significant steps to strengthen the way development finance is mobilised and coordinated across government, the private sector, development partners, and financial institutions. The framework supports national efforts to align financing with development priorities, strengthen public financial management, attract investment, and unlock innovative sources of capital for sustainable development.

Implemented by the Federal Government of Nigeria with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the European Union and other core partners, the INFF serves as a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach to financing development. It brings together actors across sectors to identify financing gaps, implement reforms, and channel resources towards Nigeria's national priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Since its inception, the INFF has helped strengthen institutional coordination for development finance, informed evidence-based policymaking, supported financing reforms, and advanced initiatives aimed at expanding fiscal space, mobilising private investment, and promoting sustainable finance. The framework has also contributed to strengthening collaboration between ministries, government agencies, development partners, and the private sector around a shared vision for financing sustainable development.

As Nigeria continues its journey towards inclusive economic transformation, the INFF is increasingly serving as a national platform for financing solutions that can accelerate progress towards the SDGs while enhancing economic resilience and long-term prosperity.
