The document provides a brief overview of international experience in gender-responsive budgeting, examines current gender planning and budgeting practices in the Kyrgyz Republic, and estimates the cost of achieving SDG 5 by 2030. Recommendations for implementing gender approaches in planning, budgeting, and monitoring in the Kyrgyz Republic are also developed.
