Description of investment

Under this project, the following type of goods were purchased and delivered to the relevant organisations:

  • Medicines
  • PCR kits
  • Medical equipment like ventilators, bio safety cabinet Class 2, video Laryngoscope, pump vol infusion IV
  • Personal protection items like mask, coveralls, googles, rubber boots

Direct beneficiaries: Health organisations in the Turkish Cypriot community

Indirect beneficiaries: the whole Turkish Cypriot community 

Scope of works

With the outbreak of the COVID pandemic, the heath facilities in the Turkish Cypriot community were not prepared to respond to it. They needed urgent support for the procurement, supply and delivery of key items to enable to properly respond to the crisis.
