UNDP and the Lebanese Red Cross sign an MoU to strengthen cooperation on disaster management, climate resilience and risk-informed action in Lebanon

Today, UNDP's Resident Representative Blerta Aliko and the Lebanese Red Cross Secretary General Mr. Georges Kettaneh signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation on disaster management and climate resilience in Lebanon. 

Building on years of collaboration, the MoU will support efforts to better prepare communities for emergencies, strengthen early action, and improve coordination in responding to future risks. 

The partnership brings together LRC’s strong presence across communities with UNDP’s work in support of Lebanon’s national disaster risk management and climate adaptation efforts.
