One of the components of the UNDP project “Socio-economic recovery from negative consequences of COVID-19 in Batken, Jalal-Abad and Osh provinces of the Kyrgyz Republic” funded by the Russian Federation is to promote the development of youth entrepreneurship and create decent employment for returning migrants by expanding economic rights and opportunities with aim to enhance social cohesion. Within the framework of this component, the Rapid assessment of the ecosystem of women's and youth entrepreneurship in the southern region of the country was carried out, the purpose of which was to collect qualitative and quantitative information to identify limitations and opportunities for stimulating women's and youth entrepreneurship, including with the involvement of returned migrants.
