January 10, 2018

The project was designed to mitigate the increasing impact of conflict and disasters on communities in 9 counties of Kenya. The project, implemented over a one year period with support from the Government of Japan, aimed to enhance stability and resilience of approximately 300,000 community members affected by violent conflict and disasters. This objective was realized through interventions to reduce key drivers of violent conflict and disasters; and, increase community awareness and the capacity for conflict and disaster preparedness and response.
