In 2023, the UN Development Programme (UNDP) in Kazakhstan, in partnership with UN Women, conducted a sociological study on public perception of gender equality and women's empowerment in the Republic of Kazakhstan. This study employed a mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including a nationwide survey, expert interviews, and focus group discussions.
