The Blue Innovative Startup Acceleration (BISA) is a joint-initiative by the British Embassy Jakarta through UK-Indonesia Tech Hub and UNDP Indonesia through AIS Forum, with the goals of strengthening Indonesia's blue economy through technology implementation. This Impact Report document highlights how cross-sector collaboration deliver practical, place-based solutions, implemented across several coastal locations in Indonesia. Beyond tangible environmental and socio-economic outcomes, BISA has empowered local communities with capacity building, fostered business ideas, and positioned the locals as active actors of sustainable development. This report also presents a replicable model for inclusive and resilient growth, showing that innovation rooted in partnership is key to advancing Indonesia's goals sustainable blue-sector development.
