Investigative journalism scholarship winners chosen and applications for radio category extended

Do you remember the investigative journalism scholarships launched on 15th June?

The winners of the 2nd edition of the investigative journalism scholarship on the theme “For Reforms and a Stable Governance in Guinea-Bissau” on the categories of Television and Press were chosen by a jury on 4th August 2020. The application deadline for the Radio Category was extended until the 20th of August for proposals with a maximum budget of 1.300.000 XOF.

The aim of the scholarship is to promote investigative journalism in Guinea-Bissau, support the media sector, contribute to active citizenship and build trust between media and the public. The initiative is promoted by Consórcio Media, Inovação da Comunicação Social da Guiné-Bissau (CMICS) and supported by UNDP through the UN Peacebuilding Fund.
