Guinea-Bissau Launches Digital Vaccination Certificate

Another significant milestone in the Covid-19 pandemic response efforts has been reached in Guinea-Bissau with the launch of a digital vaccination certificate by the High Commission for Covid-19.

UNDP Guinea-Bissau supported this initiative continuing the successful experience with the COVID-19 digital testing portal.

At the launch of the vaccination certificate, Tjark Marten Egenhoff iterated the commitment of UNDP Guinea-Bissau to strengthen strategic partnerships in support of digitization in the health sector.

The digital vaccination certificate will allow Guineans to have access to more services, travel faster, and will aid health authorities to have greater control over vaccinated people.
