This report presents our collective results in combating AIDS, Tuberculosis and strengthening health systems in 2024 through the Global Fund support in South Sudan.

This publication presents the collaborative efforts of the UNDP Accelerator Lab network, focusing on advancing digital financial inclusion through research and development. 

The Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) and the Transitional Constitution mandate a minimum 35% quota for women’s representation in government at both national and state levels, Despite the constitutional and legal frameworks, the implementation of the 35% quota remains inconsistent and often falls short.  This study therefore reflects the gender status in public administration at state levels, and explores the implementation and considerations related to gender equality.

The project employed R&D Raves, a method unique to the UNDP Accelerator Lab global network, designed to translate knowledge into actionable strategies that promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

This edition of the Health Bulletin profiles and showcases results and accomplishments achieved in eradicating HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis and strengthening health systems through the Global Fund support.

This souvenir publication profiles the journey and gives an overview of results, milestones, and impact of our work over the past two decades, 2004–2024. It demonstrates the resolve and resilience of the people and the unwavering commitment of the Government of the Republic of South Sudan through the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Global Fund, UNDP, and partners to eradicate AIDS, tuberculosis (TB), and malaria and strengthen health systems.
