UNDP has been in Cambodia for more than 50 years now, operating from 1958 to 1975, resuming in a limited capacity in 1980 contributing to emergency relief operations, and formally establishing its offices in Phnom Penh in 1994 with the signature of the Standard Basic Assistance Agreement (SBAA).

We manage financial resources from various sources in support of its development efforts in Cambodia. These resources include UNDP Core funding, Official development assistance (ODA), bilateral and multilateral donors, and global trust funds (such as the Global Environment Facility).
Accountability is the obligation to demonstrate that work has been conducted in accordance with agreed rules and standards and report fairly and accurately on performance results vis-à-vis mandated roles and/or plans.
