The UN Development Programme will organize three side events to advocate for new ways of scaling financial flows towards developing countries to support sustainable development

The ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development (FFD) is the global platform for reviewing and aligning initiatives on financing with the SDGs. The UN Development Programme will organize three side events to advocate for new ways of scaling financial flows towards developing countries to support sustainable development. UNDP seeks to use the FFD Forum to promote convergence around a common sustainable finance agenda and to strengthen the partnerships needed to achieve UNDP’s $1 trillion moonshot.

Outcomes will contribute to “Our Common Agenda” and the Doha Programme of Action for LDCs.

Panelists will explore the Facility’s ambitious goals and discuss how the flagship initiative will meet growing demand from countries for support in delivering reforms to finance the SDGs
