The 2023 Annual Report showcases the achievements of UNDP’s Regional Programme for Europe and Central Asia across 19 countries and territories. In 2023, UNDP played a key role in advancing global climate efforts, supporting partner governments and contributing to the operationalization of the Loss and Damage Fund at COP28. This engagement continues into 2024, with COP29 taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan. The region also made notable progress in digital transformation, expanding e-services, data systems, and sector-specific innovations. Reflecting a shift in development practice, UNDP IRH deepened its portfolio-based approach to support more integrated, adaptive, and impactful solutions.
